My previous jeep was a 2012 JKU and I was running 35s on that with no lift by swapping out the fenders for the poison spyder tube fenders with no fender liners and it worked really well, just a touch of rub at full stuff. WebTJ’s normally need 5-6” to run 37’s, or at least 4” with high rise fenders and maybe some cutting out back. I know when mine had 35’s on 4” I rubbed my front fenders at full flex. Nothing bumpstops didn’t fix but with 37’s I think you’d lose almost all of your compression and be left with nothing but droop which is sketchy and has a higher likelihood to roll imo. Like amsmoore said, shatfs wont be a big issue, but its one more thing that will be lurking in the back of your mind. The reason why the 5.5" springs can be too tall is because RE springs run notoriously tall. I've looked for information on Dynatrac and Currie 44's but it's mostly in relation to JK's or 35's. I know the Dynatrac 44's for TJ are based on the JK and have 3" tubes and all the beef for a 44. A D60 is going to be overkill for 37's and I will lose clearance.

I always felt with 33s I wouldn’t ever break anything on my TJ, and 35s took a bit of upgrades, to be done right. Where JKs can easily run 35s, and upgrades for 37s.
