WebbThis qualitative study explored the Lived University Campus Experiences of Low Income Students Pursuing Baccalaureate Degrees with Private Foundation Scholarship Assistance. The findings emerged as the themes "Experiences of Affirmation, Cautious Engagement, Vulnerability, and Transformation." WebbKey factors at our university that affected persistence of at-risk students included social integration, academic conscientiousness (most notably the use of self-regulatory learning strategies), and select pre-college characteristics including motivation and college preparatory curriculum.
