Web2 Nov 2016 · This is a popular and friendly inn; accommodation is clean and comfortable. Food is of good pub standard with some innovative dishes. The menu is not extensive (which I think is good) but the food is home-cooked and tasty. Overall it is a good base from which to explore the Peak District.
