WebI think the blanket advice to not use it for TR soloing is a bit harsh. Petzl is very clear that it does not work in overhangs, but when on top rope it is very easy to avoid being surprised by an overhang :-) I will continue to use the shunt for TR soloing cleaning routes. It feeds very easily and avoids build up of slack better than any other ...
